Perfect-a-pet

Every pet should be microchipped.
Microchipping means that your pet has a
permenant identification that cannot be lost or
removed (such as a tag) so that should he
escape, go missing or be stolen the chances
of him being returned safely to you is greatly
increased. It is also essential that your pet is
chipped if you wish to take him abroad using
the pet passport scheme. The procedure to
implant the chip only takes a few minutes.
Each chip contains a unique code that
corresponds to your details on a national
database, so that should your pet be found
you can be reunited very quickly.
Perfect-a-pet is licenced to microchip dogs,
cats, rabbits and ferrets. I offer a unique
service of being able to chip your animals in
your own home or at a convenient meeting
place (such as on a walk) which avoids the
stress of a trip to the vets (for you and your
pet!). There is a fuel charge for this service (if
more than 5 miles outside Skipton) but I do
offer discounts for multiple pet implantations.
The general cost for microchip implantation in
the home is Ł20/pet.
I also hold microchipping events locally
throughout the year. Please check the events
section for details of when these will occur. I
offer a discount price of Ł15/pet at these
events. All prices include lifetime registration
on the Petlog National Database.
